| Michael Barrett As we've been discussing in the Cubs forum, catcher Michael Barrett is now a member of the San Diego Padres. So how does he fit into the mix? Will he start, will it continue to be Josh Bard, or will the Padres have the two of them platoon?

| Re: Michael Barrett Why did the Padres take him in the first place? It seems really strange to me... With that attitude, he'd fit in much better in Boston... (sorry, I'm a bit grouchy this morning). But why didn't teams like the Nationals, Phillies, Giants, Royals, or D'Rays show interest? |
