| Peavy fans 16 in Padres loss Padres pitcher Jake Peavy struck out 16 batters in seven innings yesterday, including 9 in a row at one point. And his team lost. According to the AP, "Peavy's gem was wasted when Stephen Drew hit a two-out, two-run homer off Trevor Hoffman in the ninth to give the Diamondbacks a 3-2 victory over the Padres Wednesday night." How tough has that got to be for a pitcher to swallow?

| Re: Peavy fans 16 in Padres loss YEAH baby!...they failed to say he set a GTG Gotham Drak Knight record in the process!...that and a Bonds homer (though he hitted against Gotham pitcher Randy Wolf) on the same night...life is good...almost.... |
