The Wildcat offense took the NFL by surprise and by storm in 2008, the Chargers falling victim to it in October in Miami.
With the predicted proliferation of the Wildcat in which the ball is snapped directly to a player other than the quarterback, with that player having the option to hand off, throw a pass or run the Chargers spent portions of the past two days running the offense in earnest for the first time.
I think it's good for our defense to see, coach Norv Turner said. They're going to face it.
Turner did not rule out his offense using it, even saying maybe he can get fans and media off his back by giving LaDainian Tomlinson a few passes out of the formation.
Do you think the Chargers defense is athletic enough to succesfully defend or use the wildcat offense?
