Monday night, it became official - linebacker Junior Seau has retired, and he did so as a member of his first team, the San Diego Chargers. Is Seau a Hall of Fame linebacker? First ballot?

The finest linebacker of the 1990's in my opinion. He get in on the first ballot.

Junior Seau was my favorite linebacker of all-time. I sure hope he gets into the Football Hall of Fame, since his career was magnificent. I am glad that he retired as a Charger since he had his best years in San Diego. What was the main reason he retired? It was probably the constant injuries, but it may have been his age.

He didn't retire. He graduated. He's now doing post graduate work in New England.
