You know, with all this talk about the Chargers moving to L.A. or the NFL adding an expansion team (or two, if you ask The Governator) there, people seem to lose the fact that people in southern California just have never been very good at supporting professional football. And this article suggests that this simple fact hasn't changed, as most of the people interviewed didn't particularly seem to care whether or not the was an NFL franchise in the Los Angeles. What do you think about this issue?

The NFL isnt big in LA. I mean they let go the Rams AND the Raiders. They also allowed themselves to be outbid by Houston. What more do they have to do throw rocks at Paul Tagliabue's house? I understand that its an embarrassment that the second biggest media outlet is not represented by the NFL but Los Angeles simply doesnt want a football team. The NFL brass is going to have to accept that fact.

Well,given that I went 2 my 1st EVER NFL game Oct.29(Rams at Chargers),& seeing ALL the Rams fans that were still left back home,I'd say we DO want NFL back!There had 2 be at least 40% Rams fans at Diego!But speaking as an LA native,there's ONLY 1 team I want,& that's the team that left us.I understand Georgia is a St. Louis native(?) & that's why they left.But I wish we had them back!

The fans in L.A. are too laid back for the NFL. They only care about show buisness and snotty waiters and waitresses who think they are gonna be discovered as actors and actresses. The only entertainment they are used for is when I laugh at how pathetic their lives are and even 10 times as pathetic that Los Angeles let not 1 but 2 football teams take off!!! If that aint saying they don't want football I dare ask what is???
