His teammates, though, love him for not only his intelligence and cool under fire but also the courage he showed in the AFC championship game last season against the Colts. He played 6 days after having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Rivers insists its all in the spirit of good fun like Sapp and Favre, and that he never says anything he couldnt tell his 6 year old daughter.

I wonder why he doesnt get hit with a taunting penalty.

He may be obnoxious but he's a young, talented quarterback who took his team to the playoffs...those are in short supply in the NFL. I say deal with it.
