Anyone surprised by this? I figured Volek might want to try to earn a starting job elsewhere. | I read that they made him such a good offer that he couldnt refuse. Also, to be a starter anywhere else wasnt necessarily what he wanted. He wants to be part of a team that goes to the Super Bowl and he thinks the Chargers are in a good position to make the run.
