BOLTS WIN vs GREATNESS

is it time to stop talking about the greatness of manning and the colts they said it was a fluke the last time S.D. beat theme at home now we beat theme on there field whene it counted colts had the ref's in there pocket and S.D. 2nd string on the field and what!! they still lost it's time to stop talking about this team as being great and give the underated chargers a little credit manning is who the chargers thought he was back the fist time we beat theme and again today i think the word is OVERRATED!!!!

I'm no Colts fan, but I think a Super Bowl title and some great seasons have certainly proved his greatness.

Nice win by your Bolts today, but some sportsmanship would be nice.

Re: BOLTS WIN vs GREATNESS

No question the Chargers came back from some difficult calls to day. Manning made a couple of key errors that at least contributed to the loss. Was it his fault they lost ?? I don't think so. It was a hard fought and action packed game.

Question now is ... are there enough healthy players on the Chargers to beat New England ???

Yeah, I don't see how you can pin the loss on Manning or call him overrated...I think on the last drive, the Chargers applied good pressure...and their rookie lineman gave way to Meriman....

Quoted for truth. Why can't some fans just be happy with a win?

Manning is a two-time MVP. The Colts are former Super Bowl champs. They've earned those labels.

They can't be happy with a win for the same reason players have to pose for TV. It's not enough to be good, some folks feel that you have to rub others noses in it to truly feel fulfilled!

That seems to be the legacy of players and fans, or at least the direction way too many of em head in these days. Some call it passion, I call it arrogance.

Cool Re: BOLTS WIN vs GREATNESS

I can't believe I'm saying this but Turner outcoached Dungy. The Chargers blitzed their linebackers more and got Manning out of sync.

The Colts often rushed only 4 guys and gave Rivers too much time. They should have rushed the kitchen sink at him and tried to force him into turnovers.

As far as sportsmanship, I really think Rivers has a screw loose. That look in his eye is scary.
