Expecting a large lead-in audience from the Steelers-Patriots game Sunday, CBS will show a profile of Chargers superstar LaDainian Tomlinson on "60 Minutes." The show airs after the football game in the East and Midwest, where the Patriots' bid to go 13-0 will be the featured game in most cities. "60 Minutes" will be on at its regular time of 7 p.m. on the West Coast. According to CBS, the profile will be heavy on Tomlinson's off-field work, including providing Thanksgiving meals, college scholarships, bikes and shoes to those in need. He also treats 21 children to every Chargers home game. "People may remember something I did on the field for a couple of days, maybe a week, but the things that I do and we do in the community is something that people remember for the rest of their lives," Tomlinson says on the show. Tomlinson's mother, Loreane, and wife, LaTorsha, also were interviewed by "60 Minutes." According to CBS, LaTorsha said any children they have will be dissuaded from playing football because "that's going to be a lot of pressure on them to live up to the legend that their father is and will be."
