Donnie Edwards on Trading Block

Rotowire.com is reporting that the Chargers are shopping around LB Donnie Edwards in an attempt to trade him.

Two things make this story interesting. One, Edwards has been very productive for the San Diego defense recently and two, he's considered to be a Schottenheimer guy, which is said to be the reason why GM A.J. Smith wants to dump him. Apparently, he's trying to axe all of Marty's guys as part of their ongoing feud.

Sounds crazy, but maybe his ego is that far out of control, and maybe that's why Brees is gone too...
