I guess when you have an offseason that sees you lose a lot of free agents while signing few, you have to take the silver linings where you can get them. That said, the Chargers re-signed restricted free-agent linebacker Stephen Cooper on Thursday. Cooper played in all 16 games last season, starting twice and finishing with 30 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks. Somehow, if I'm a San Diego fan, that doesn't quite take away the sting of losing Drew Brees, but I guess you take 'em where you can get 'em, right?
