| Drew Brees Why would the Chargers want to trade Drew Brees? What is the obsession with not wanting him to quarterback the San Diego Chargers? This guy is a good quarterback. The past two years, he's completed nearly 65% of his passes and has a passing average near 7.4 yards per pass. That makes the running game a whole lot easier.
Think about it. On average, Drew Brees completes 2 out of every 3 passes. So, in a set of three downs, if he passes twice, odds are, he's going to complete one pass. If it's for over 7 yards, you only need the running back to pick up 2-3 yards for a first. And, if the defense is ready for run, then odds are that Drew Brees could always just throw. The odds are good he'll complete the pass.
I just don't see why the Chargers would want to get rid of Brees. |
