Tomlinson named MVP

Well surprise, surprise. Chargers RB LaDanian Tomlinson has been named the NFL MVP. I haven't seen the voting, but I'm guessing it wasn't even close. LT was far and away the best player in professional football this year. So naturally, we're all in agreement that he was the best choice, right?

Re: Tomlinson named MVP

Yeah this was the clear choice. Brees for all he did was overshadowed by Tomlinson's gaudy numbers.

Re: Tomlinson named MVP

I heard that Peyton Manning only got 2 votes.

Where was Phillip Rivers in this commotion?

Re: Tomlinson named MVP

The right guy was chosen as 2006 NFL MVP! L.T. got 44 votes out of the 50 possible, as it was reported by the Associated Press.

The other contenders, Brees and Manning didn't even come close. I believed that it would of been a closer race if the Saints had had a better record and Brees had played better. Brees played good, but L.T. was unstoppable.

LT FOR MVP BABY!.... MAYBE NEXT YEAR...L.T. FOR SD MAYOR?...
