It was only last season that Chad Pennington took the Dolphins to the play-offs. This year, the Dolphins have been struggling, coming into week 3 they have yet to win a game standing at 0-2, they have allowed 46 points while only putting up 30. There system of catching the defense off guard with high school plays and wildcat formations, has seemed less electric this season. This however, could the Dolphins lucky week, the Chargers have give up 51 points so far, the two teams they played have been the Raiders and the Ravens. The Dolphins are coming off a tough loss to the Colts, a game in which for much of it they kept the score very close.
The Chargers on the other hand, despite their 1-1 record, have looked like a pretty week team. A team like the Chargers were expected to have a very strong season, they beat the Raiders by 4 points, and lost to the Ravens. Even though San Diego lost, Rivers had a good game, he threw for 436 yards, it seems he is starting to find his footing in the pocket this season.
