The DA has dismissed charges against LB Shawn Merriman. Merriman was charged with choking a female and throwing her to the ground when she was trying to leave.
DA says they have reviewed the investigation and determined there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the crime was committed.
