The San Antonio Spurs have sent center Rasho Nesterovic and an undisclosed amount of money to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for forwards Matt Bonner and Eric Williams and a second-round pick in 2009. The move, according to the AP, as "the 30-year-old Nesterovic has $23.5 million and three years left on his contract, while Bonner and Williams are entering the final year of their contracts." Good trade for the Spurs?

From a salary cap and a re-building vantage point, it's a great move. After next year, they'll free up enough space to sign some big free agent to complement Duncan. I guess Toronto is trying to make a run in the next year or 2.
