Tim Duncan had 19 points and 10 rebounds and five Spurs scored in double figures as San Antonio ended a three-game stretch where it failed to reach 90 points.

Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker added 16 points apiece and Michael Finley scored 13 for the Spurs, who shot 49 percent in only their third win in seven games.

The Spurs still trail Dallas and New Orleans in the Southwest Division, but Duncan fully expects San Antonio to be back near the top come playoff time.

Personally I doubt it, as long as Duncan, Parker and Ginobli are healthy for the playoffs. Anybody think that San Antonio might be on the way down?

They're 5-5 in their last 10, and that doesn't bode well when the two clubs in front of you in the division are 8-2 during that same stretch. Still, all things considered, I still wouldn't be willing to be against this team come playoff time. They seem to be able to turn it up a notch when it really counts.

They took care of the Lakers pretty handily last night, 103-91. This tells me when the Spurs need to turn it on, they will.
