San Antonio wins Game 2

The San Antonio Spurs have taken a 2-0 NBA Finals lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

According to the Associated Press, "Tony Parker scored 30 points, Manu Ginobili had 25 and Tim Duncan added 23 as the Spurs schooled Cleveland in championship basketball for 3 1/2 quarters, overpowering the Cavaliers 103-92 in Game 2 on Sunday night to take a 2-0 lead in the NBA finals... San Antonio was vastly superior in almost every way imaginable -- building a 29-point lead and then relaxing in the fourth quarter -- when the Cavaliers stormed back within eight points before the Spurs finally put them away for good." At least the Cavs showed signs of life near the end. They were down by 28 at one point in the first half.

I was more impressed by old man Robert Horry with his 5 block shots and 9 rebounds...this would be what, his 7th ring?

Yes indeed, and he's one of just two NBA players to win rings with three different teams.

See now, the Hall should reserve a tiny, tiny spot for guys like these...winners where ever they go...Then you have people like Wally Walker the little known (former 1st round pick of Portland, 5th overall...heaven knows why) who through no fault of his ended up in two winning teams his first three years in the league.

Re: San Antonio wins Game 2

All I know is that Tony Parker is spending $250,000 on renting a castle for his wedding! So not fair you guys. why does the Desperate Housewife girl get a castle? And well, a quarter million? They might make that back on selling the rights to the pics to some news rag. LOL. Still a bit much. Hope they get clubbered by the Lebron guy just for spite. I mean, it's okay to go for the Cavs just for spite, right?

I don't know why she would get a castle either. I don't see the big deal over her. He could still get her with a paper Burger King crown and a whopper.

I don't care why you would root for the Cavs as long as you do. I need all the prayers I can get for them to win.

Okay-doky!

And yeah, burger king crown. I mean we are not talking Grace Kelly here you know? Just a girl best known for a show where she sleeps with a high school gardener. We are not exactly talking class. LOL.
