| Robert Horry Playing in his 214th career playoff game, Spurs forward Robert Horry showed why he has been such a clutch postseason performer. Whether he was blocking an Allen Iverson runner in the lane, hanging out in the backcourt to pick off a J.R. Smith pass, or knocking down a critical baseline jumper with 42.8 seconds remaining, Horry showed that guys who are almost 37 years of age can still play the game, especially come playoff time. After the Game 3 win over Denver on Saturday night, Manu Ginobili joked, "It was great to see Robert out here doing his thing tonight, but where was he for the six months before this?" Manu quickly added he was only kidding because he knows very well the value that Horry brings to the team. Horry trails only Kareem Abdul Jabbar in playoff appearances, and leads all active players with six championship rings. You don't have to tell Robert it's playoff time. 20-Second Timeout: Big Shot Rob Rides Again Last edited by Lefty Noob : 04-30-2007 at 06:16 PM. |

| Re: Robert Horry Looks like Horry struck again last night. According to the AP, "'Big Shot Rob' hit a 3-pointer from the right corner with 30 seconds left to seal San Antonio's 96-89 victory over the Nuggets on Monday night that gave the Spurs a 3-1 lead in the first-round series." Horry is no doubt one of the best all-time clutch playoff performers the game has ever seen. Who wouldn't want this guy on their team in the postseason?
