ESPN's Cold Pizza is reporting that Spurs coach Greg Popovich has pulled his radio show after the station broadcasting it aired an offensive sketch about the Denver Nuggets. I don't have all the details, but apparently two D.J.s did a sketch with a fake AI and Mello claiming that they slipped the Spurs something "out of their secret stash" and later pulling out a gun and shooting a homeless man. Is Pop's outrage justified, or is this much ado about nothing?

Fair enough, but what do you think of the opposing team's coach sticking up for these guys? Odd, to say the least.

maybe there is more to the story...maybe it made the Spurs look like push overs...who knows...there is generally more to it...or Popovich is setting himself up to get picked on for being too PC...

Possibly SNL can get away with it.
