| Spurs winning streak The San Antonio Spurs have now won nine straight games, collecting the 9th straight win yesterday, 88-74, over the Clippers. And according to the Associated Press, they're doing it with defense: "For the third consecutive game, the Spurs held their opponents to 74 points, this time in an 88-74 victory Monday night over the Los Angeles Clippers to extend their season-high winning streak to nine games."

| Re: Spurs winning streak It’s up to 13 with the win last night against the Clippers. Manu has just been unbelievable during this streak. He is providing a spark coming off the bench this team had needed all year long. I don’t know how many other superstars in the league would have accepted this role the way he has…the guy is just amazing. |

| Re: Spurs winning streak Well, the streak is over. I knew it had to end eventually, but I just hate seeing them lose games like they did tonight. The Bucks were inspired and came to play and the Spurs didn't. Redd had a great game for them and we had no answer for him...he was shooting lights out. Brent Barry kept us in the game early, but that was about it. Ginobli had his first bad game in a long time going 2-10 from the field. Oh well, we get Boston on Saturday night...time to start a new streak. |
