| Spurs guard Michael Finley After the hectic Rodeo Road Trip, Spurs guard Michael Finley took time out of his busy schedule to visit children and their families at a San Antonio Ronald McDonald House. “My visit is important for this organization and for me,” Finley said. “It makes me realize how blessed I am as a role model and an athlete. It’s a great opportunity to be a ray of sunshine for these kids.” When Finley showed up unannounced with wrapped gifts (including an Xbox 360 and a wide range of board games), the children and their families got the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get autographs, take pictures and play with the gifts Finley brought to the event. “It makes me feel good knowing I bring smiles in tough times,” Finley said. “I am a giving person, and I’ll do whatever I can to bring smiles to their faces and have fun and play. I really enjoy my time here.” Finley Brings Smiles To Ronald McDonald House Last edited by Lefty Noob : 02-28-2007 at 05:37 AM. |

| Re: Spurs guard Michael Finley He is without a doubt one of the "good guys" in the game, but the entire organization is all about helping out the community. Finley is another one of those players that has blossomed into his role and has been playing some good ball recently. He will be needed down the stretch and into the playoffs. |
