It was less than a week ago that Ron Arest said he "probably won't" opt out of the final year of his contract with the Kings. But yesterday, in an email to the Sacramento Bee's Sam Amick, he said he's starting to change his mind:
"I never knew so many teams would be coming after me," he wrote. "All I can say is I made a hundred degree turnaround."

Exhibit A as to why NBA players should be required to spend as much time in college as possible.

Artest definitely seems to be a hot commodity right now, though. It would make sense for him to opt out, really.

Since it has been a few years since I've been involved with the educational process I can't be exactly sure but I would think 6th grade might be where you learn about "turn around" and just how many degrees are involved with it.
