The Kings won convincingly over the Warriors Saturday night, capping off 2006 with a 119 - 96 victory.
Seven Kings scored in double figures, four of which were off the bench. The most notable was rookie Quincy Douby.
“Quincy did a phenomenal job,” Coach Eric Musselman said afterwards. “He’s earned his minute by the way he’s played in practice the last couple of weeks.”
Douby’s performance may be a forewarning of things to come. 2007 could be the year of the Q, as his teammates and friends affectionately call him.
