Watch out for Rutgers???

so they beat Unc to start the year, then they shutout illionois, and now they beat ohio.

Raymell Rice has 83 carries for 499 yards and 6 tds. they have given up only 23 points. they have to play wvu the last week of the season and they play the cards, the week after wvu does, so they could have a good shot at picking the cards off without bush, but brohm should be back in plenty of time for this game.

They are at the top of the list for others reciving votes.

What do you guys think a realistic goal for the rest of the season should be for rutgers??

i think 10-2, ill give them loses to wvu, and lousiville.

but the rest of the schedule is simple

there remaining home games
Howard(um win)
uconn(should be a win)
Lousiville(brohm and that wr core might be to much
syracuse(door mat of the leauge)

Road Games
South Florida(an up and coming team in the bigeast)
Navy(which they should easily win)
Pitt( i cant read this team, one week they look good the other they look horrible)
Cincy(should win but they got two good qbs so who knows)
and to end the year at WVU(being a mountaineer student ill pick wvu ty)

what record do you guys think rutgers will end up with

Re: Watch out for Rutgers???

Depending upon whether or not the injured Brian Brohm is back (when's the game go down?), I think Rutgers might be able to upset Louisville. WVU? That's another story, I think. Though, if I were a betting man, I might be mighty interested in what the spread's gonna be on that one. I'd bet on the State University of New Jersey playing the Mountaineers awful tight. As Lee Corso says, "Closer than the experts think."

Re: Watch out for Rutgers???

I agree w/ Lefty on Rutgers' chances against Louisville. If Brohm isn't playing, they could upset.

Against WVA, I'd say it would be a good thing if they're competitive. I suggested Rutgers may make some noise in the Big East a while back here, but not too many people were warm to the idea lol.

Re: Watch out for Rutgers???

But the question remains if he will be rusty or not. The Rutgers defense has looked pretty well this season and if they can sustain it, they could be a force late in the year.

Re: Watch out for Rutgers???

I've been extremely impressed with Rutgers. They will finish the year with 2 losses (close losses at that) and play in a good bowl game. I'm just glad I live on the east coast and will get to watch most of their games this season.

Re: Watch out for Rutgers???

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, Hokies64. Thanks for joining us. No one here is trying to dog on your Hokies - they are a very good team. I think we're all just impressed with the progress that the Rutgers program has made lately. I'm not inherently a fan of their program, but I love underdog stories - that's why I hope they have a very good season.

yaya and if they do win the big east they will go undefeated until they play a real team out of confrence with a winning record in a Bowl game then we will see how good they really are.

so lousiville and wvu arent real teams cause rutgers woulld have to beat them to go undeafated.

Then again im sure your just taking your frustration from the gt loss out on our beloved rutgers .
