Ryan Dirteater (Hulbert, Okla.) dislocated his left knee. He is undergoing tests at a local hospital including an MRI. He is out for World Finals and out for an undetermined amount of time.

Ryan Dirteater sustained a left kne dislocation during the third round at the Mohegan Sun when he was stepped on the bull after hanging his spur in his bull rope after his ride. He was transported to Baccus Hospital in Norwich for tests. This is a serious injury that will require surgery to correct and will likely keep him out for a year.

That wreck was so horrible. Looking back, I'm amazed they only found something wrong with his knee. I thought for sure he re-broke his leg, maybe in more than one place. I was hoping the damage would be restricted to just his leg, cause he got a couple shots in his stomach and stuff too. Thank God he's gonna be OK.

o wow i cant believe the luck this kid has! he's just had a horrible year! now he's prolly gonna be out all next yr too! wow... but hey he healed super fast when he broke his femur so mabe the same deal with ligaments! at least i hope soo... he's to young to be gettin injured so much.

I don't think it's gonna be a fast one... Tandy said it's gonna be series of surgeries to fix that knee, so it doesn't stiffen up. Even if he's OK by like, August, he obviously won't be able to qualify for the Finals. I mean, maybe, but coming back from something that big, I can't imagine he'll be on top of his game quick enough.

yeah it'll prolly take a lil while to get back in the swing of things after that sorta injury. ligaments are kinda slow to heal and then u have to get em back stretched out and strengthened and its jus gonna take time... bad bad bad
