Ryan Dirteater sustained a left kne dislocation during the third round at the Mohegan Sun when he was stepped on the bull after hanging his spur in his bull rope after his ride. He was transported to Baccus Hospital in Norwich for tests. This is a serious injury that will require surgery to correct and will likely keep him out for a year.

Re: Bull riding

That wreck was so horrible. Looking back, I'm amazed they only found something wrong with his knee. I thought for sure he re-broke his leg, maybe in more than one place. I was hoping the damage would be restricted to just his leg, cause he got a couple shots in his stomach and stuff too. Thank God he's gonna be OK.

Re: Bull riding

I don't think it's gonna be a fast one... Tandy said it's gonna be series of surgeries to fix that knee, so it doesn't stiffen up. Even if he's OK by like, August, he obviously won't be able to qualify for the Finals. I mean, maybe, but coming back from something that big, I can't imagine he'll be on top of his game quick enough.

Re: Bull riding

yeah it'll prolly take a lil while to get back in the swing of things after that sorta injury. ligaments are kinda slow to heal and then u have to get em back stretched out and strengthened and its jus gonna take time... bad bad bad

Re: Bull riding

Really looking forward to this round tonight. Except not happy at all that the last 15 rides will not be shown until tomorrow. Looks like it will be the top 15 riders that we will not see tonight.

Pulling for Kody to get an awesome ride on Lone Star tonight and it would be awesome if he could win the round!!!

Looking forward to see Mike Lee on Ricky Bobby! That should be good!
