Bodacious

Mon 7/24 @ 7 pm est, and 1 am est for you guys out west on OLN
Documentry on the baddiest bull ever. See why he was loved and hated by riders and fans. Bodacious is a Charbray bull, which is a cross between a Charolais and Brahman.

Some Kinda Bull - Bodacious

Re: Bodacious

I will never forget watching Bodacious rearrange Tuff's face. My favorite bull and my favorite bull rider. But I did not like how it ended.

Hi DogeFB.. welcome to the Rodeo Fourm. I see you and Granny have already made nice .

I am guessing by your post that Bodacious messed Tuff up. Was it bad?

Re: Bodacious

Bodacious jerked Tuff down. It crushed about every bone in his face. He has never looked the same since.

Thanks for the welcome.

Wow that is gonna hurt!!!

Sorry.....couldn't help myself

Will your new calf be direct from Bodacious? I see sperm for sale on the Internet so I guess that is possible ( or is that just a rip off?).

I bet you are hoping for a boy... I bet you have a name already picked out..what is it? And...who is the lucky momma? What breed?

Sorry about all the questions but this interests me very much...thanks

You or you and your faminly are into breeding? You use a bull or insemination? The area I live in is mosty likestock. We have very little top soil for agricultural. We raised Angus, The short stocky original look animal. A lot of the farmers started breeding to the larger breed bulls, they had a lot of trouble at caving time.
I really enjoyed rasing bulls, need good fences , I would of loved to have gone into insemination. They never got a class started in this area.
I miss having cattle, but my husband is not able to do all that work anymore and I've gotten to old for the hay field

Re: Bodacious

We ai'd (artificial inseminate) the cow this spring to a grandson of bodacious. He was also a grandson of the legandary skat kat if you know who he is. I am raising them and then I am goin into partnerships with my parents on a few of the others. Yes Tn_Gal you can buy semen from most any bull out there.

So do you just insemiante any she cow, or do you use a good blood line there too? Do you own the momma or is this like surrogate, and you just get the calf? Sorry if I sound stupid but I told you I find this interesting...

Like, would one breed of momma not work so good if you were trying to raise a bronco bull??? Sheet, what do you do if its a girl?? BBQ??
