Where is the Rodeo this weekend?

Let's help folk's find a local rodeo in thar neck o'the woods......

I just came across one south of me.....I can tape TV.. but live bukaroo-ing can't be beat

The Cherokee Capital Fairgounds in Calhoun hosts the Calhoun Championship PRCA Rodeo – FRI & SAT night at 8 PM. (July 21 & 22)

"Where the Wild West Meets the Northwest"

The Friends of the Fair are proud to sponsor the 2006 Clatsop County PRCA Rodeo on Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22, at the Clatsop County Fair and Expo.
The event, part of the Columbia River circuit, is the first rodeo in the area sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Contestants will compete for spots at the national championships in saddle bronc riding, bareback riding, team roping, calf tying, steer wrestling, bull riding and barrel racing.

FRIDAY, July 21
“Family Night”

Livestock Association Steak Dinner - 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Special Entertainment - Mutton Bustin’ at 5 p.m.
Admission gates open - 6 p.m.
Rodeo Performance - 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, July 22
National Day of the American Cowboy

Buckaroo Breakfast - 6.am. to 10 a.m. in the exhibit hall.
Admission gates open - 6 p.m.
Rodeo Performance - 7 p.m.
Cowboy Dance with the hot new country sound by “Much More Country” - 9 p.m. to midnight in the exhibit hall. $5 cover charge; waived for Daisy Duke look-a-like participants. Mechan bull rides, $5.
General admission is $15 per person or $10 for children 10 or younger. Download and print this form to order tickets. Parking is $3 per vehicle.

This was last nite in Calhoun GA...... damn hot and smelling ripe

Cheyenne Frontier Days U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Comapny Challenger Tour Event Finale!


CHEYENNE, Wyo. (July 26, 2006) - The Cheyenne Frontier Days Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC) Challenger Tour stop concluded in electrifying style Tuesday night from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Wyoming bull riding fans were captivated by ninety of the world's best bull riders and rankest bulls in the two day competition. The young North Carolina duo of Brian Canter (Randleman) and J.B. Mauney (Moorseville) stole the show from the other PBR competitors with __??????__ being named the final event champion.

The event will air on OLN on Sunday, July 30th at 6 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 5th at 8 p.m. (EST)

9th Annual St Jude Rodeo

August 3rd, 4th, and 5th
Tuesday, July 11, 2006



Yates Farm in Ringgold, Georgia, has been the site for the St. Jude Rodeo since 1998. Mr. Yates invited St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to be the beneficiary of his rodeo after hosting two events in 1996 and 1997 that did not benefit a charity. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with Yates Farm keeping no money for their efforts.

The St. Jude Rodeo has been voted the “Rodeo of the Year” by the entire membership of the National Cowboys Association for the past eight years!

Rodeo - Thursday, Friday, Saturday / August 3, 4, 5, 2006

Gates open at 6:00pm / Rodeo starts at 8:00pm





NHBA Barrel Horse Racing – Sunday,August 6, 2006

Gates open at 11:00am / Barrel Racing starts at 2:00pm

Yates Farm -- Hwy 151 – south of Ringgold, Georgia


Exit 348 off I-75. Head south toward Lafayette and Yates Farm is on the right six miles from the interstate.

Nothing ever happen around here. Cheap too, Let me know if they charge as much for food as you know who.I lived in Ringgold School Dist. in PA. Here's a picture of TN and hubby, Keep an eye out for them.

Well we never made it to the rodeo this weekend...so no pictures to share...sorry.

Storms made Friday night not feasible. Had way too much to drink Sat so I didn't leave the house Sat night. And today, they were having the barrel racing today... I had to work and thank Gawd I can watch TV there so I did get to watch the Nasacr race...am still recovering from last nite. TTYL

I glad you got to watch the race, I could of just skiped it
Although the event on OLN was described as haven been released 8/5 it was a repeat of last week. This whole freakin' week has been a bummer. So I guess we have nothing new on rodeo for this weekend.

If you live near Pendleton Oregon there is a week long rodeo that looks like a blast...check it out
