The PBR conducted a steroid test on Troubadour (Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls) the top marked bull of the Express Classic on Sunday, July 20.
The PBR has deemed the issue of steroid use in bulls is important enough to develop and PBR bull testing committee and a steroid policy introduction.
Its not exactly clear to what extent if any bulls are being subject to anabolic steroid treatments. Steroid use was more prevalent in the past, as contractors have realized that the serious and detrimental side effects on their bulls outweigh any benefit.
