The Women's Rough Stock Foundation is a new organization and is working its way into the rodeo circuit.

I have a friend who's 62 years old. She comes from a rather famous bull riding family and rode bulls for years as a young woman.

Are the rules and so forth the same as for the men?
Actually, I cant really see any reason why women couldnt be successful at it, do you? Why dont more do it?

Most often women lack the upper body strength that is required to ride rough stock. That combined with an intelligent fear of being hurt...

Kind of what I thought. Not strong enough to hang on and smart enough to stay off!
