| Bull's eye Earlier in the season talk around the watercooler had to do with the overall high riding percentages and what appears to be a record setting pace for 90 point rides. Some thought the riders were fresh after the 8 weeks following the 2007 PBR World Finals. Some thought, like other sports, the athletes had gotten stronger and better skilled. Some instilled a sense of doubt as to how rank the bullpens were. But people who know bulls though, know there wasnt anything to the idea that the bulls werent as strong as they had been. Riders are getting worn down though. The average rider weighs about 140 to 170 lbs, and the bulls are anywhere from 1500 to 2000 lbs. Professional Bull Riders, Inc. PBR Press Releases
