| Can Bull Riding Make It In New York City? The Professional Bull Riding tour is much more popular than the American media make it seem. I once talked to a Versus executive who told me that the network considers PBR a more valuable property than the NHL. But it's mostly a southern, western and rural sport. Can PBR make it in America's biggest city? They're giving it a shot: YouTube - PBR Invades New York! I could see PBR becoming a hot ticket at Madison Square Garden some day. And if PBR makes it in New York, the mainstream media won't ignore it anymore. Can Bull Riding Make It In New York City? - FanHouse - AOL Sports Blog |

| Re: Can Bull Riding Make It In New York City? If a rider gets a bull that doesn't perform well and they have a score under about 80, a rider will usually be offered another bull, and it is their choice whether or not to take the re-ride. Of course, there are some bulls that are harder than others, and it's just luck of the draw. I think that's one of the things that's so awesome about it - in order to be successful, a rider needs to be able to ride every type of bull. |

My personal favorite is Brian Canter (that's where my username comes from). I was so glad to see him do so well this weekend - he had a rough season last year. Can't wait for next weekend in NYC!! |

| Re: Can Bull Riding Make It In New York City? Last week's event in New York City was one of the best I've seen. The new bull draft was awesome, and it really added to the event. The crowds in New York City were great as well. It's always good to know bull riding, the PBR in general, is growing so rapidly. I'm looking forward to this week's event in Worcester as well. I've posted some key first-round match-ups for Worcester at my blog. |
