| Hey, I'm new...and have a question:) Okay, I know I was supposed to post an intro in the proper place, but since I only joined to ask this question I'm going to intro here I'm 23 from South Africa, and mostly train racehorses (assisstant)...been riding since i was 5...been falling off since then too...not that I'm a bad rider or anything....alot of people would buy a plot if their stupid 3y.o. tb colt threw himself into the air, landed bucked, landed spun and dropped his shoulder..... Okay, so, we don't get Rodeo here in SA, sometimes, if you're lucky you can catch it on ESPN, but thats about it. Now, you have the World Champs right? So, do other countries like, send reps or something to compete? I don't know, I'm just wondering coz, I know you have a World Champs for baseball, but no other countries compete...that I've seen...so thats why I'm asking, I know Aussie has rodeo and the like...so do they send riders/reps to the States to compete in the world champs under their country's flag? I'm sorry, this is such a random question I know, and I hope nobody takes offence to this, because it's not intended to be offensive at all!!! Thanks for any answers BTW here's a pic of me competing on my baby Coral...taken back in '00...he's retired now...so am i... ![]() |

| Re: Hey, I'm new...and have a question:) not a dumb question at all!! (and i'm new too....hola!) bullriding's a very individual sport. there are no "teams" but you do have different countries represented in the PBR (provided that they make enough money to qualify for the World Finals) such as: Scott Schiffner (Canada), Adriano Moraes, Guilherme Marchi, Renato Nunes, Robson Palermo, Paulo Crimber, Valdiron de Oliveira (Brazil), Rocky McDonald (Mexico), and Brendon Clark, Jared Farley (Aussies!!) |
