COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 6, 2006) - The Professional Bull Riders' (PBR) Enterprise Rent-A-Car tour made history over the Labor Day holiday weekend when it invaded Fairbanks, Alaska for the first-ever PBR event to reach the 49th state. The Last Frontier PBR Challenge featured an impressive $50,000 in added prize money, 75 of the industry's most dominant bucking bulls, and some of the best bull riders in the world. Kody Lostroh (LaSalle, Colo.) was named the Last Frontier PBR Challenge champion, to the tune of $16,016.10 in prize money. The competition on the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC) Challenger and Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tours continues to intensify as the PBR World Finals approaches, and every dollar earned moves these cowboys one step closer to PBR glory. The USSTC Challenger Tour hosted one event in Lancaster, Calif., while the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tour hosted three events; one in Fairbanks, Alaska, Steamboat Springs, Colo., and Ada Okla.
