Boilermakers vs. Eastern Illinois

Purdue got off to a decent start last week, beating Toledo 52-24 thanks largely to Curtis Painter's four touchdown passes. This weekend, they've got another fairly easy looking contest, with the Eastern Illinois Panthers coming to town. Should pretty much be a repeat performance for Painter and another big win for the Boilermakers, don't you think?

And a repeat performance it was! According to the AP, "Curtis Painter tied a school record with six touchdown passes as Purdue defeated Eastern Illinois 52-6 on Saturday... Painter's output tied the record set by Drew Brees in 1998 and matched by Kyle Orton in 2004. Painter completed 38-of-49 passes for 348 yards."
