Toledo's been a pretty good team in recent years, but the 2007 Boilermakers appear to be loaded offensively, with QB Curtis Painter, WR Dorien Bryant and TE Dustin Keller all ranked in the top three in the conference by Rivals.com. Should be a fun offense to watch, and if the D is any good at all, Purdue should come away with a victory in this one. What do you think?

Purdue beat Toledo, 52-24, but the score is somewhat deceiving. They were just 4-of-13 on third down conversions and committed three turnovers. Painter threw for 244 yards and four touchdowns, but only connected on 46% of his passes. In fact, the running game is probably what carried them to victory, as the Boilermakers gained 244 yards on the ground. I'd love to see what the time of possession figures were for this game.
