This is old news, and for that I apologize, but it's still eminently noteworthy.
As reported in the April 15 Oregonian, "The last connection to the Trail Blazers' controversial past was severed Monday when the team waived ailing forward Darius Miles, providing what general manager Kevin Pritchard said was 'closure' on Miles' turbulent 4 1/2 seasons in Portland." So Miles is gone, the team finished at .500 and they get Greg Oden back in 2008-09. Things are definitely headed in the right direction for the Trail Blazers, don't you think?
