The Portland Trail Blazers signed forward Jeremy Richardson from the NBA Development League’s Ft. Worth Flyers to a 10-day contract, the team announced today. The move is the 14th Gatorade Call-Up of the NBA season.
The 6-7, 190-pound rookie signed two 10-day contracts with the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 27 and Feb. 6 of this season. He played five games with the Hawks, averaging 1.6 points and 3.8 minutes.
In 19 games (18 starts) with the Flyers during the 2006-07 season, Richardson posted averages of 17.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He shot 45.0 percent (134-298) from the field and 36.8 percent (21-57) from three-point range.
