Well, the NFL has gotten better about educating the incoming rookies...but judging from the poor Judgement exercised by matt Lineart in the "paris Hilton affiar"...and now Holmes...I am gonig to up the over-under to a nifty seven...

Marcus Vick got in trouble with the Police before he was even in the NFL.

He is the Dolphins now. He sits behind Daunte Culpepper, and Joey Harrington. Don't you think the Dolphins have enough protections at the quarterback spot? I think they may be cautious because of last year's disaster in the Meadowlands (See "Jets, New York")

Whatever the case, I don't see Marcus Vick sticking with the Fins. He's a head case and I heard that he stunk it up during the rookie camp (which begs the question -- why did they sign him anyway?). There are much better #3 options out there if you ask me.

Potential of his type will always get a look...always...you can't teach talent and natural ability...a guy with 4.8 speed and a spotty record of behavior would not get a look...a guy with 4.4 speed and a spot record will always draw a look...

Look at Randy Moss...he dropped out of the top 20 in the draft....Vikings picked him up...and he was All-world that year...they had Cris Carter take him under his wing...

No, this isn't a rerun... Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Santonio Holmes was arrested in Columbus and charged with domestic violence and simple assault, both misdemeanors. He pleaded not guilty to both charges, but this is the second time he's been arrested since the April NFL Draft. Starting to look like there may be character issues with the young man...

According to the AP, "A charge of disorderly conduct against Pittsburgh Steelers rookie receiver Santonio Holmes was dropped Thursday... Prosecutors dismissed the charge against the Steelers' first-round draft pick, but he was ordered to donate $250 to the police officers assistance trust fund." Thats a rather unique plea bargain, don't you think?
