| Re: Big Ben Gets 8 Year Contract Worth Upwards Of $102 Million Big Ben is not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady but he does fit the Steelers offense perfectly and did have a great numbers last year to entice the Steelers even more. Frankly I think they would have been insane not to resign Roethlisberger. It didn't come cheap but yes I think the Steeler brass made a good move. |

Oh yea. And Ben is the my Boy. Great QB rating, and gave us a pretty good regular season. Looking forward to many more great seasons.

| Re: Big Ben Gets 8 Year Contract Worth Upwards Of $102 Million You know what, maybe I'm being too hard on the guy. I went to go check out his stats to show why he isn't among the really good NFL QBs, and I see a career completion percentage of 63% (not bad), 84 TDs to 54 INTs and a passer rating of 98 in three of four seasons (and he was ranked Top 5 in that category each time, and is fourth among all active QBs in his career, according to Pro Footbal Reference.com). That's a lot better than I thought.
