Seven reasons to extend Big Ben's contract

Ben Roethlisberger would love to get a contract extension this offseason and the Steelers would love to give him one.
Seven reasons they should:
1. It all starts with the quarterback
2. Drafting a quarterback is a risky proposition
3. It has gotten harder to play quarterback
4. Teams generally dont have the luxury of letting a young quarterback develop
5. Big Ben is still growing and will improve
6. He has the toughness the Steelers like in their players
7. He likes it in Pittsburgh and would like to end his career there.

Seven reasons to extend Big Ben's contract - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Any one have doubts that they should extend his contract??

this is true .... Rick Mier

nope .. not true ..... the NFL has dang near made QB's untouchable .. and receivers, making them easier for the QB to find

not true .... Russell and Quinn both sat out almost all of last season

not sure here ... he won a Super Bowl, not sure how much he can improve on that

yeah he seems tough
