Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker Larry Foote who grew up in Detroit, is haunted by the story of a 10-year old boy pulled from a Rouge River tributary.
Foote, who lives in metro Detroit during the NFL off season, called the family wanting to help with funeral expenses.
Foote said it hit home because he grew up near there and played on the river when it was frozen.
