Steelers' Big Ben reveals wish list

Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has three items in his off-season wish list: a new contract, the return of Alan Faneca and a tall wide receiver.

Roethlisberger pleaded his case with Steelers management to keep left guard Alan Faneca.

Big Ben also talked about having a taller receiver for a target. He cited his height, and the fact he has to actually throw down to receivers like Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes, because they are not as tall as him. A taller wide receiver would also be a stronger threat on fade passes, which has been a struggle for the Steelers.

Roethlisberger also wants a new contract that will make him a Steeler for life.

Cool Re: Steelers' Big Ben reveals wish list

A tall wide receiver?? His receivers were fine. Look at the size of Mark Duper and Mark Clayton. Do you think Marino ever complained?

Re: Steelers' Big Ben reveals wish list

Talk about selfish. I can understand wanting to keep Faneca, but are Ward and Holmes not enough for him? My goodness!

Re: Steelers' Big Ben reveals wish list

Come on guys. He has to throw down to them because he is so tall. lol
Guess when you get all that big money you start to get big ideas.

Its funny though, I dont remember Flutie complaining because he had to jump up and still throw up. Must not have had enough money.
