Big Ben wants Big Bucks

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and NFL.com are both reporting that Steelers QB Ben Roethlesberger, who still has two years remaining on his rookie contract, is looking for a big-money, long-term deal with the team. Big Ben threw for 3,495 yards and 34 touchdowns this season. So, should Pittsburgh give him the new deal he's looking for?

Yes. he's a top 10 QB in the league and those are hard to come by.

No question at all. Those are big numbers for any team. I hate the battle for mega bucks and I believe all pro athletes are overpaid but if the next guy is going to get it, Big Ben might just as well also.

He should definitely be paid like a top QB. He won a Superbowl and is developing well. They have their franchise QB, now it's time to make a commitment to him.

Who is an inarguable better QB than him?

Brady, Manning, and Palmer and Favre & Romo.

He's in that next level with guys like McNabb, Breeze & Hasselbach. So pay the man.
