Roethlisberger wants new deal

More bad contract-related news out of Steeler camp -- QB Ben Roethlisberger want a new contract. In fact, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, "The Steelers and Roethlisberger's agent have had early talks about a contract extension for the young quarterback. While it appears nothing will be done this season, the machinery is gearing up for what should be the largest contract in the organization's history." No way Big Ben should be the highest paid player in Steelers history. No way.

You got that right, Goth. I figure a guy should at least be the best, most valuable player on his own team before requesting franchise-record money. But I'm old fashioned that way, I guess.

Re: Roethlisberger wants new deal

they are stupid if they sign him to a big deal

and i guess the reports coming out that he didnt get along so well with the Chin last year may have been Ben's fault
