Pittsburgh Steelers OT Max Stars has signed his one-year, $1.85 million tender. According to the Associated Press, "The Steelers have not negotiated with Starks on an extension past 2007, a sign they will allow him to become an unrestricted free agent next year. By tendering an offer to the 6-foot-8, 340-pound Starks, the Steelers forced any team that wanted to sign the offensive lineman this year to give up a first-round draft pick."
