Ben is a very good quarterback but it doesn't matter who you are if you're getting sacked 5 times a game your play is gonna suffer. Randall Cunningham was sacked to death hence him missing so much time and cases like David Carr who never got the chance to develop his skills because he was running for his life on every play, getting beat up and not really learning the schematics of the quarterback position. Bottom line is you have to protect the quarterback and Ben Roethisberger is being annihilated when he drops back and you're seeing the results of that now.

BENCH BEN ROETHLISBERGER!!! Ben has blown the game yet again. He is a selfish player, he needs to sit out and let Byron lead the team. How many more interceptions can he blame on his wide receivers before they start calling him out. You can't be an elite quarterback when you constantly lose the game for your team.

I think he has the talent, for some reason it just has not really shown lately. Maybe he is getting pressured to soon, or playing good defenses. Either way I don't know if I would go as far as saying he sucks, not yet atleast.
