Two new tidbits coming out of Steelers HQ this morning. First, the team has released RB Duce Staley, which comes as no surprise. He's been a huge disappointment in Pittsburgh. Also, wide receiver Willie Reid will miss the rest of the regular season. Not that he's played much anyway.

Staley has never lived up to expectations. He gets injured too easy. I first saw him a few years ago when he ripped Dallas for 200 yards. He was unstoppable that day.

Staley can catch on as a role player somewhere else...the guy can still run a bit, and catch passes out of the backfield...at this point he would not be a bad 3rd down back when healthy.
