Ben Roethlisberger's toughness has kept him on the field. Jerry Porter's tough stance has kept him sidelined.

Despite suffering his second concussion in about four months, Roethlisberger is expected to start Sunday when the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Oakland Raiders with Porter -- who is returning from a suspension.

Roethlisberger is listed as questionable after being briefly knocked unconscious during a helmet-to-helmet hit with the Falcons' Chauncey Davis midway through the third quarter of Pittsburgh's 41-38 overtime loss in Atlanta last Sunday.
Roethlisberger has not been cleared by doctors to play but, if he is, plans to "beg and plead" with coach Bill Cowher to do so.


What happened to this two teams?...Once upon a time this was a must see game...now its a battle of two teams with all of three wins in 12 games.

At this point not even Kenny Stabler or Jim Plunkett could save the Raiders.

Al Davis should change his slogan from "win baby"...to "don't keep embarrassing me like this baby"...

What an upset this is looking to be, and it's all on Rothlesberger's shoulders. He's thrown 4 interceptions, the latest of which was just taken back for a score. Ben's been awful, and really, most coaches probably would've pulled him after pick #3. I honestly don't know what Cowher's waiting for.
