| Mientkiewicz Return Is Questionable The pirates seem like they hope to kepp Doug in a Pirates uniform. However they will put down an offer, they believe he may sign with another team, another team that may give him a better chance of having a starting spot on the roster. He was a player that could bring leadership and veteran presence to a ball club.  How important is Doug Mienkiewicz to the Pirates?
